Do you take commissions?

I do. Though I prefer having people looking at my already existing body of artwork and connect from it.

Do you plan your paintings in advance?

I do not plan my paintings in advance. I even rarely choose the colors, I prefer finding them as I go.

Are you making large scale paintings?

Yes, I do.
I normally work with four different formats that I call Mogul (for the largest), Rebel (for the medium-large), Visionary (for the small-medium), and Icon (for the small). A collector would typically choose a size first before placing an order.

How long should I expect to wait to receive a piece of work I have ordered?

It depends on where the work is to be delivered. Usually, (in Belgium), the work is delivered within a few weeks.
When the work is commissioned and considering the collector doesn't have a specific deadline to be respected,  I may ask for longer deadlines.

Why did you start painting?

I had the desire to try something I had never done before.

Do you have any work that you are not ready to sell yet?

I sure do.

What is your favorite part about painting?

Freedom

How many piece of work do you sell a year?

Since I'm not a full-time artist, I can't really answer in terms of pieces per year. It really depends on the projects I'm involved in, and the time of year I let the viewers of my work know that I have available artwork.

What have been your favorite exhibition experience so far?

King pleasure JM Basquiat in NYC was so special.  I'll never forget it.

Do you have a favorite piece of art?

Don't thing I do but, Le châtiment des quatre piquets dans les colonies (1843)  hasn't left my mind since I was introduced to it. Basquiat those who dress better can receive Christ either.

Is there any art supply without which you cannot paint?

Yes. The "knife". My favorite tool to work with. I also hardly work without red.

Where can we view your work?

Upon request, in my home gallery.

When will be your next solo expo?

I do feel I have to grow a bit more as an artist before planning on setting another solo expo.

I have some exciting artistic projects coming next year (2026). Even tho these won't be solo, I'm sure they are worth the wait.

Do you have other artistic talent we should know about?

Don't think I do

Wild fact about your practice?

Almost all of my artworks are created during the night, due to my terrible sleeping habits.

Why peintre parfois?

Just to remind myself (and others) that I/We humans are multidimensional beings, capable of evolving in this world in all the way we have deemed possible. Sometimes, I'm an abstract painter. The other times, I'm as many other things that I can be dreaming of.
